π’ HONORING THOSE WHO SERVE: FORT CHERRY AMBULANCE SERVICE
At The Badge & Flame Project, our mission is simple:
πππ Honoring Those Who Serve πππ
Today, we want to recognize Fort Cherry Ambulance Service and address an unintentional administrative oversight following our recent Touch-A-Truck event.
We sincerely apologize for not properly acknowledging the members of Fort Cherry Ambulance Service and the vital role they played during our event. The omission was not intentional and does not reflect the respect and appreciation we have for EMS professionals and the sacrifices they make every day.
While supporting our Touch-A-Truck event, the crew from Fort Cherry Ambulance Service responded to two emergency calls. One of those calls involved a search-and-rescue operation for a missing person.
After speaking with EMT Joshua Yeager this morning, I learned more about the extraordinary efforts that took place during that response. Joshua and his partner Roni, hiked approximately two miles through wet forest terrain in search of the missing individual. Despite returning with their uniforms soaked from the waist down, they successfully located the patient, ensured their safety, and then returned to our event to continue serving the community and helping make the day a success.
Their actions are a powerful reminder of the commitment, professionalism, and selflessness demonstrated by EMS personnel every day. When the call came, they answered without hesitation.
On behalf of The Badge & Flame Project, our Board of Directors, volunteers, and supporters, we extend our sincere gratitude to Fort Cherry Ambulance Service for their service, dedication, and unwavering commitment to the communities they protect.
As President of The Badge & Flame Project, I remain committed to working alongside EMS, law enforcement, fire departments, dispatchers, and all first responders. Every agency, every responder, and every role matters. We are strongest when we stand together in support of those who serve.
To the members of Fort Cherry Ambulance Service:
Thank you for your professionalism.
Thank you for your sacrifice.
Thank you for your service.
We are proud to recognize you today and every day.
Respectfully,
Cody Muszik
