💕💕💕💕
Two years ago today, my life changed forever.
On August 7, 2024, at just 27 years old, I heard the words no one ever expects to hear:
“You have breast cancer.”
I remember the fear. The uncertainty. The endless questions. The feeling that my life had suddenly been put on hold.
I never could have imagined everything that would come after that day—the surgeries, chemotherapy, fertility preservation, the physical and emotional challenges, the waiting, the fear, the strength I didn’t know I had, and the long road toward finding my way back to myself.
Two years later, I am still here.
I am still standing.
And I am ready to turn what was once one of the hardest chapters of my life into something meaningful. 🩷
Today, on the second anniversary of my diagnosis, I am officially launching the Stronger Than the Storm Project.
This project was born from my own experience with breast cancer and from the things I wish every person facing this disease had access to—support, compassion, resources, community, and someone reminding them that they don’t have to face it alone.
Our primary focus will be supporting young adults affected by breast cancer, because being diagnosed young comes with its own unique challenges. But this project is for everyone affected by breast cancer. No matter your age, your story, or where you are in your journey, you deserve support.
Through fundraising and community support, the Stronger Than the Storm Project will work toward helping breast cancer patients and supporting breast cancer research.
I don’t know exactly where this journey will take this project yet.
But I know where it started.
It started with a diagnosis that changed my life.
And today, I’m choosing to change what that diagnosis means to me.
Instead of letting August 7 only represent the day I was diagnosed, I want it to represent the day I decided to use my experience to help someone else.
Because we may not get to choose the storms we face.
But we can choose what we build after the storm. 🌧️
Welcome to the Stronger Than the Storm Project.
If you believe in what we’re building, the best way you can help us get started is incredibly simple:
🩷 Follow the page
🩷 Tell someone about the project
🩷 Help us build a community where no one facing breast cancer feels alone
Together, we’ll lift each other up, celebrate every victory, provide hope through the hardest days, and remind every person facing breast cancer that they are never alone.
This is just the beginning.
Stronger than the storm. Together. 🩷
