International Stop the Violence Alliance:

Friday, October 27th, I had the pleasure of accepting an invitation to the International Stop The Violence Alliance event held at the Burlington County, NJ Library. The event was supported by the New Jersey State Police, as well as C.A.B.L.E. and other Law Enforcement Organizations. We gathered to address the issue of violence associated with the effects of Hamas and Israel, which is unfortunately becoming prevalent in our communities.

It was truly inspiring to witness everyone working together in a collective spirit, aiming to foster open communication during these challenging times. Events like these play a vital role in raising awareness and finding effective solutions to combat violence. By coming together and sharing perspectives, we can create safer environments for everyone, particularly within an educational setting.

The Darby Township Police Department, under the leadership of Chief Michael Sousa, has successfully implemented a community-oriented approach by ensuring that its police force reflects the diversity of the community it serves. This achievement is commendable, and I extend my congratulations to the Darby Township Board of Commissioners for their efforts in making this possible. By assigning enough police officers who resemble the community they serve, the department is fostering a stronger connection and understanding between law enforcement and the residents they protect. This proactive approach to inclusivity and representation is crucial in building trust, promoting effective policing, and creating a safer environment for all.

Dear LE,
I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to invite you to C.A.B.L.E.’s upcoming Fish Fry, which will take place on Saturday, July 15, 2023, from 4 pm-8 pm at the Sharon Hill Fire Department Banquet Hall.

Come out and enjoy the food, dancing, networking, silent auction, 50/50, celebrity corner, etc. This annual fundraising event helps us to raise funds for our organization, Collective Agreement of Black Law Enforcement, which is dedicated to addressing and correcting the underrepresented minority groups at all levels of law enforcement.

We believe that every member of our community deserves an opportunity to learn what it takes to become a member of law enforcement. The program starts by targeting frontline officers and continues with involvement up the ranks to the highest administrative levels. It also shows the importance of having access to active partnerships, diverse membership, and core tenants: education, mentorship, networking & research, and your support helps us to achieve this goal.

All of the proceeds go towards supporting our programs and services. We would be honored if you could attend this special event or simply purchase a few tickets and support our cause. Your ticket purchase or donation will help us to make a difference in the lives of those we serve.

Learn more about the opportunity at our event page here https://cablefry.ticketleap.com/cable/. We appreciate your consideration and hope that you can join us for this meaningful evening. If by chance you are not comfortable with online donations, please consider sending a donation to:
