Praise & Worship Service 11:00AM In 1908 a building was constructed in Plymouth.

In 1902 Lake Creek Baptist Church was organized in Collingsworth County and services were held in the Lake Creek school house. That building site is now part of the Plymouth Cemetery. In January of 1937 the Plymouth church building was moved to Samnorwood. As the number of members grew, there was need for a larger building. Around 1942 a larger building was constructed with the Samnorwood FFA memb

ers supplying the needed labor. God has blessed Samnorwood Baptist Church over the years and there have been infinite times for the church to be the hands & feet of God, not only in this community, but throughout the world.

Hello! We just wanted to pop on here and let you know tomorrow we will have a special day hearing from our missionaries we support. We invite you to join us in person.

Also, We will not be streaming tomorrow’s service so we hope you will be in attendance with us to hear just what God is doing in the lives of the people Luke and Leslie encounter. He is at work there and everywhere!

Remember, we will have a meal following the service. Bring your favorite dish! Don’t feel like you have to bring a dish, but do stay! It’s a great way to fellowship with fellow believers and visit with the Montgomery’s.

REMINDER:
THIS Sunday, August 30th, we have the privilege of hearing from our area missionaries! Luke and Leslie Montgomery are here on furlough from South Africa and will be sharing with us what the Lord has been doing in their lives and ministry.

We invite you to join us for a time is worship through singing and of hearing from the Word while our guests share from their heart.

Following the service we will have a meal and we invite everyone to stay! The theme is “potluck” so feel free to bring your favorite dish and or dessert. This is also a great opportunity to get to know Luke, Leslie and their boys and to also ask questions about their work and living in South Africa!

What an exciting Sunday! Invite someone to join you and us on August 30th for our 11:00 am worship time!
