🚨 Abuse Isn’t Always a Bruise 🚨
When people think of abuse, they often picture yelling, threats, or physical violence. But abuse can also be much quieter—and just as damaging.
💔 It can look like:
• Making you feel guilty for spending time with friends or family
• Controlling finances and limiting your independence
• Manipulating conversations and denying what really happened
• Making you question your instincts or reality
• Acting like nothing happened after hurting you
• Discouraging your goals, dreams, and confidence
• Controlling your choices without directly telling you “no”
• Appearing perfect to everyone else while treating you differently behind closed doors
Abuse is about power and control, not just physical harm.
If something feels wrong, trust yourself. You deserve relationships built on respect, support, honesty, and safety.
