What does it really mean to navigate life with limited financial resources?

Leadership Susquehanna Valley's Class of 2027 joined alumni and community members for an eye-opening Poverty Simulation facilitated by Central Susquehanna Opportunities, Inc.

Through this interactive experience, participants gained a deeper understanding of the challenges individuals and families living in poverty face every day—encouraging empathy, reflection, and more informed community leadership.

We're grateful to Central Susquehanna Opportunities and everyone who helped make this meaningful learning experience possible!

MILTON — A poverty simulation Thursday for 60 people offered a sobering look at how quickly financial struggles can spiral into eviction, legal trouble and other hardships.
