Every thrift find has a story behind it. ❤️

At CRCI Thrift, your purchases help support Christian Recovery Centers and the men and women working toward a new beginning.

From the first steps of recovery to rebuilding confidence, preparing for the future, and celebrating milestones, every step forward matters.

Our Beauty from Ashes fashion show gave us a glimpse of what that transformation can look like. And when you shop our stores, you help support the mission behind it.

🛍️ Come see what you can find at CRCI Thrift in Holden, Shallotte, or Sunset Beach!

A big thank you to Evergreen Studios for capturing these inspiring moments!

It was a blessing to host Conversations on a Bench right here on our Shallotte thrift store property.🪑

For 24 hours, our CEO Josh Torbich took a seat and made time for the conversations that matter — listening to people, sharing stories, and bringing attention to homelessness, addiction, and mental health.

At Christian Recovery Centers, we believe people are more than what they’ve been through. Every person has a story, and sometimes, change starts with a little compassion and a willingness to listen.

And this mission extends beyond the bench. Every time you shop at CRCI Thrift, you're helping support our nonprofit recovery programs for men and women, providing access to free treatment and life-changing services right here in our community.

Thank you for being part of something bigger every time you shop, donate, and support our stores. ❤️

Tomorrow, the conversation begins. 🪑

For 24 hours, CRCI CEO Josh Torbich will be seated on a bench outside our Shallotte Thrift Store, creating space for conversations that matter.

Conversations on a Bench is about shining a light on people in our community who are experiencing homelessness or struggling with addiction and mental health challenges—and having the conversations that can help us better understand, support, and serve them.

24 hours. 1 bench. Countless conversations.

You can follow along throughout the event through the livestream:

Let’s shift the narrative, one conversation at a time.

Every outfit has a story, but the people wearing them have stories that go so much deeper. ❤️

Our recent fashion show brought together pieces from our CRCI Thrift stores and the residents who remind us why our mission matters. Every look came from our stores, but the real highlight was celebrating the courage, growth, and hard work behind every person who stepped onto that runway.

We’re grateful to be part of a mission that makes room for new beginnings, and proud to see our residents celebrated in such a special way.

The outfits came from our thrift stores. The stories came from their journeys.✝
