Our students at Lotus have been hard at work planting, watering, and caring for their potato plants, and this year they got to see the results of all their efforts. There's something special about growing your own food and watching the entire process from start to finish.
We're so proud of their patience, teamwork, and excitement as they dug up their homegrown potatoes. Learning really does come to life in the garden!

Our students do “board work” to learn to identify new terms and practice reading skills in the group setting. This is one of our learning techniques. Here is a great student showing us how they learn. This is one technique of many used within the school to ensure fluency and mastery of skills. (This video is in 2 parts)
