A Community Coming Together to Make a Difference!

What an incredible morning of service in our community! The food distribution event was a tremendous success, and it would not have been possible without the generosity, dedication, and teamwork of so many individuals and organizations.

Here’s what we accomplished together:

93 volunteers
219 vehicles served
327 families received food assistance
Approximately 1,308 individuals impacted
30,768 pounds of food distributed. over 15 tons!

A heartfelt thank you to all the organizations, community partners, and volunteers who contributed their time, resources, and energy to make this event possible. Your continued commitment to serving others is what makes our community special.

One of the highlights was seeing so many young adults stepping up to volunteer. Watching the next generation give their time, work hard, and serve others is encouraging. These young people are not just our future leaders; they are already making a difference today.

Community service isn’t about recognition. It’s about showing up, working together, and making a positive impact in the lives of others.

To everyone who helped organize, coordinate, unload, sort, distribute, and clean up afterward, THANK YOU! Every role mattered, and every helping hand made a difference.

When a community comes together with a shared purpose, great things happen.

Our food distribution event was a success! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 thanks to all who supported.
A big thank you to Lideres Campesinas, Food Forward, Shafter Lions Members, Richland School District, American Refuse, Glam Salon, Shafter AG Solutions, N & L farm Labor services and all volunteers. 🙌🏻
