Today, we pause to honor and remember the brave men and women of the United States Armed Forces who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. Their courage, selflessness, and unwavering dedication to this country will never be forgotten.

We also honor the families who carry the weight of that sacrifice every day. Your strength, love, and support for your Soldier, Sailor, Airman, Marine, or Coast Guardsman are deeply appreciated and forever respected.

This Memorial Day, I would like to personally remember my momma’s brother, my Uncle Buddy who gave his life in service to our country on July 24, 1967. Though he is gone, his sacrifice and memory will live on forever.

May we never forget those who gave everything so that we may live free.

Due to gas prices and construction in Shady, we plan to operate 2 pickup locations! We will have people set up in the Beaver Kroger parking lot (weather permitting), as well as the FBC Shady parking lot passing out bags this summer. ITS LONG BUT IVE TRIED TO COVER ALL OF THE BASIS.

On June 26th we will be doing our Low Cost spay/neuter trip for CATS. Below is the form that will be need filled out. You can print this ahead and pre fill if you want to. Please read the following:

* CATS ONLY we have limited spots. Please do not message us about dogs at this time.

* We meet at 6AM at Bethel Church in front of MacArthur Walmart.

*YES if kitty is a prowler fetus deletus is possible.

* We return USUALLY between 9 and 10 pm this can vary pending how well everyone wakes up. You will have a 2 hour notice when the driver leaves the vet so don't go to Walmart at 9 and be mad if they don't get there until 10. Night pick up is the lot beside Gina's.

* 2 pets pets per household

* $10 per pet transport fee that must be paid prior to your spot being confirmed. Gas is expensive. If you cancel 48 hours ahead you can get a refund or reschedule. No shows will not be refunded or rescheduled. Fees can be paid to pp [email protected] or cash ap TaunyaLaDawn if you need other routes let us know.

*All cats must be in INDIVIDUAL CARRIERS. ALL DOGS MUST LEASHED WE WILL PROVIDE THE DOG CRATES FOR TRANSPORT. If you have a feral or an indoor outdoor cat SECURE IT THE NIGHT BEFORE DO NOT WAIT UNTIL 545 THE MORNING OF TRANSPORT.

* We HIGHLY recommend your animals are boostered prior to the trip as we do include ferals.

* We sponsor surgery and associated expenses. Pain med and rabies vaccine

* Feral cats WILL BE EAR TIPPED and you must be willing to keep them crated until the following day before releasing them for their safety. This allows anesthesia to wear off. If you can't do this then don't catch them.

* WHILE WE TRY TO BE AS HELPFUL AS POSSIBLE WE ARE NOT VETERINARIANS. FOLLOW THE AFTER CARE INSTRUCTIONS. IF YOU ALLOW YOUR PET TO RUN, JUMP, LICK ETC THAT IS NOT OUR FAULT. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY AFTERCARE. SEND EXTRA MONEY FOR AN E COLLAR IF YOU NEED ONE.

*IF YOU GHOST US AT PICK UP WE WILL FILE ABANDONMENT AND STILL SHOW UP WITH THE ANIMAL..BEEN THERE DONE THAT

* Inbox us with a request AFTER you are finished reading. We are very busy VOLUNTEERS so if you dont get an immediate response be patient. Being rude will get you blocked.

KEEP IN MIND, EVERYONE INVOLVED IS VOLUNTEERING THEIR TIME. YOU ARE NOT ENTITLED TO THEIR TIME OR THE HARD WORK THEY PUT IN. IF YOU GET RUDE AND THEY TURN YOU AWAY THEY ARE NOT EMPLOYEES WHO WILL GET REPRIMANDED, WITH THAT SAID THESE LADIES BUST THEIR TAILS TO PROVIDE THIS SURVICE AND IT TAKES SEVERAL DAYS OF PLANNING AND LOADING AND THEN DRIVING AND WAITING AND THEN DRIVING AND UNLOADING. FEEL FREE TO SHOW UP WITH A TIP ❤️
