🏈📣 Calling All Parents & Community Members! 📣🏈

Shady Spring Youth Football & Cheer is looking for positive, dedicated volunteers to help lead our athletes this season as coaches and mentors!

Our program is about more than wins and losses — it’s about teaching teamwork, sportsmanship, leadership, confidence, and creating a supportive environment where every child can grow and succeed. We encourage everyone who wants to make a difference to get involved and be the change they wish to see in youth sports.

Whether you have years of experience or simply a passion for helping kids learn and have fun, we welcome you to submit your name for consideration.

Please note: All submitted coaching applicants will be reviewed by the board prior to final coaching selections being made.

Together, we can continue building a strong, positive program for our Shady Spring Tigers family! 🐯💙💛

Attached are the parent shirt orders for this upcoming season. Attached are both football and cheer pages. THIS ORDER WILL CLOSE JULY 3rd! No late orders will be taken.

🐅 ALL cheerleaders must order a hoodie and sweatpants for the colder games. This will be apart of their uniform. If they do not have one they will not be allowed to cheer when it gets cold.

🐅 ALL flag football players need to order the hoodie and sweatpants with their last name on the back to wear during colder football games.

Do not forget today is the 1st day of sign ups for returning players!! 💙💛🐅🐅

🐅ALL RETURNING PLAYERS THAT SIGN UP TODAY WILL GET THEIR NAME PUT INTO A DRAWING TO WIN A FREE DAY FROM PRACTICE. 🐅

🐅Returning players only need to bring WVSSAC physical and payment. We should have a copy of your birth certificate from last season.
🐅 Any equipment not turned in last season can be turned in today.
🐅 Trophies from last season may also be picked up due today.

Our program focuses on teaching fundamental skills, fostering sportsmanship, and developing physical fitness through age-appropriate training. We aim to help young athletes grow both on and off the field—and we need strong role models to help lead the way.

No matter your experience level, if you enjoy working with kids and want to make a difference, we’d love to have you on board. Coaching is a rewarding way to give back, inspire confidence, and be part of a supportive, fun community.

Parents cheer, are you listening,
In the case, trophies glisten,
A wonderful sight,
Coaches are already planning tonight,
Walking in a Shady Tiger land.

Gone away are the Tigers being unheard,
Here to stay, is us finishing first , first, and third,
We sing our fight song,
As we cheer along,
Walking in a Shady Tigerland.

On the field we can make some touchdowns,
We won't have to pretend that was a down,
They'll say: are you losing,
We'll say: no man,
You can come and watch if you're in town.

Later on, we'll admire,
Our hard work, as we sit by the fire,
To face unafraid,
The plans our coaches made,
Walking in a Shady Tigerland.

Some reminders:
🐅Today is the last day to RSVP for the end of season banquet. If we do not have you wrote down, we will not have seating or food for your count. So please, if you plan to attend let us know by 8:00 tonight at the latest.

🐅If you have not turned in your uniform and equipment you need to do so ASAP. Reach out to a board member and see if someone can meet you to get these items. We will NOT be accepting any uniforms or equipment the day of the banquet. Everything has to be turned in before then. If we do not receive your items, you are subjected to pay the $300 you agreed to at the beginning of the season when you signed them out.

🐅 Please Read.
Each player in our league receives one participant ticket. In addition, each family receives 2 family tickets, no matter how many children you have in the league you only receive 2 family tickets.
So if you have 4 children in the league, you will get:
• 1 ticket per child = 4 tickets
• 2 family tickets
This gives you 6 tickets total.
