Muscatatuck Wildlife Society is the non-profit support group of the Muscatatuck National Wildlife Refuge. The membership is made up of people who care about wildlife and want to make the Muscatatuck National Wildlife Refuge a better place for wildlife and people. The society runs one of the finest nature bookstores in Indiana. Members assist with Refuge activities, projects and happenings includin

g Take a Kid Fishing Day, Log Cabin Day and Wings Over Muscatatuck. Hours posted are for the Visitors Center on the refuge. The refuge property is opened 1 hour before sunrise to 1 hour after sunset every day.

Come spread your wings! Our annual “Wings Over Muscatatuck Festival” is this weekend , April 25th. There will be children’s activities, bird programs, guided refuge tours, a native plant sale and more! Lunch for sale will be firewood smoked pulled pork and wings.
