Mark your calendars for the 8th Annual Seymour Firefighters Golf Scramble! If you're interested in supporting your local firefighters with a sponsorship or by signing up a team, message us on Facebook, text Blake Bevers at (812)521-0969, or email [email protected].

We will have prizes for the winning teams as well as a prize raffle open to all players!

All proceeds from this event will go to the Seymour Firefighters Charitable Fund, which is then distributed to organizations such as Hoosier Burn Camp, Shop with a Cop, Supporting Heroes, and more. We also reserve some funds to support local first responders in need.

Come out and have a great time for a great cause!

As you stop by the tenderloin booth at Oktoberfest this year, you may notice a fire boot out front for donations. Local 577 has begun collecting for MDA’s Fill the Boot campaign. This is a long time charity of the International Association of Firefighters. We would appreciate if you drop your change in the boot or scan the QR code and make a donation. If you’re not going to make it out to the booth, you can scan the code from here and make a donation!

Wow! We had an amazing turnout for the 7th Annual Seymour Firefighters Golf Scramble! We had another successful year raising $12,320 after all expenses were paid for the Seymour Firefighters Charitable Foundation. We use this money to help support local charities within our community and to aid first responders in need. We also help by donating to great organizations like Supporting Heroes and Hoosier Burn Camp. Thank you to all who came out to play and thank you to our sponsors who make this event such a success! We'll see you all next year on August 22!

We are happy to donate to Sweet Cheeks Diaper Pantry as part of our mission to support those in need in our community! They do amazing work by providing free diapers and wipes to Jackson County babies and toddlers. Thank you for serving our awesome community!

A team of 4 firefighters will play for free at the 7th Annual Seymour Firefighters Golf Scramble!!! Brewskies Downtown has offered to pay for a team of 4 firefighters! The first person to comment with the names of the 4 firefighters who will be playing will win. What a great deal!
