Happy National Adopt a Shelter Cat Month! In honor of this June celebration we will post a couple cats every Friday starting with Tilly and Sylvia! 🐈‍⬛🐈

Whatever their stories have been we are looking toward the future for these girls. Both are young cats that love to play, watch the birds, and enjoy their favorite snacks. Sylvia is a love muffin and Tilly appreciates a nice scratch from her favorite volunteers (especially when treats are involved). 🍗

Together they are next level adorable!!! 🥰 Sylvia follows Tilly around like her shadow. Tilly grabs Sylvia for quick cuddle and bath. 👅 Watching their sistership (not blood related) develop has been truly special. 🩶🧡

Chunky Monkey has the best crazy eyes out there. 👀 In reality he’s a pretty typical 11 month old kitty. If you have pets, he’ll take them. Need a hug? He’ll let you give him a good squeeze. In the mood for some antics? He’s ready for play time.

Chunky and his roommate Ares are just two handsome midnight men ready for the home life. 🐈‍⬛

Happy Tails! Maple and Acorn were adopted together today!!

Autumn came to us back in February as an owner surrender. We quickly discovered she was pregnant with her first litter of two kittens (Maple and Acorn!)
We also found that her left eye was abnormal and cloudy. The vet initially assumed it was from an untreated eye infection that caused the pupil to rupture and blindness in the eye. After giving birth to her kittens we noticed the eye becoming more swollen and bulging from the socket. She was taken to a specialist who confirmed that the eye was dead with complete blindness. The pressure in the affected eye was high - the vet said she probably feels like she has a constant headache. They recommend removing the eye to eliminate the risk of further damage and potential of carcinoma. This procedure will cost approximately $4,000.
