As a programs manager I see what happens behind the scenes. I see everyday people shift their schedules around to go fix a door. I see them intentionally give rides to make sure that widows know they are loved. I see groups come in with leaders teaching life skills to students as they serve. I see people who hear of a need and don’t have much to offer, but still manage to make a meal for someone else. I see volunteers who deeply love the people they are serving!!! Thank you!! Happy National Volunteer Month!!

This is a post from Baby Greyson’s family for all of you that might want to know:

We wanted to share an update from our hearts.
At one point, we stopped adding to and sharing Greyson’s Amazon wish list because we truly believed his time with us might be very short. But Greyson has shown us something powerful that he is a fighter. He has overcome more close calls than we can count.

We made a decision as a family:
We are not going to live expecting him to pass… we are going to live each day loving him as if he’s here to stay.

Caring for Greyson comes with many needs such as medical supplies, comfort items, and daily essentials that insurance simply does not cover. We are also learning more about him every single day and what soothes him, what brings him peace, what makes him comfortable.

For example, he loves to be bounced but no one can physically do that all day. So we’re trying things like bouncy seats, swings, sensory items, lighting adjustments, and more to make his life as peaceful and enjoyable as possible.

Some items on the list are marked as “must-haves” because they will directly improve his comfort and quality of life.

These needs are ongoing, and we are taking it one day at a time learning, adjusting, and doing everything we can for him.

If you feel led to help support Greyson and our family, we are incredibly grateful. Every single thing makes a difference more than you know.

Thank you to “Your Home Sold Guranteed” for being such a blessing to LIVE-IT this month. You are such hard workers! Cleaning our walking trails in the park, building shelves, organizing and helping in the thrift store and so much more and always having such a great attitude! We are so grateful!!!
