Midwest Aerobatic Club Chapter 80

Midwest Aerobatic Club Chapter 80 Precision aerobatics : education : sport : competition We are Chapter 80 of the International Aerobatic Club (IAC), a division of EAA.

We try to maintain a monthly cookout meeting at the Seward Municipal Airport in Seward, Nebraska, every third Saturday afternoon in Harry Barr's Hangar.

Our MAC80 contest in Seward NE (SWT) is 30 days.
If you planning on attending please go to the IAC website and preregister.

MAC80, will hold their Aerobatic Championship Contest at SWT (Seward NE) May 1-2, 2026.
Practice box will be open Thursday April 30, contest starting on Friday May 1 and Saturday May 2. If needed we will finish on Sunday May 3.

We have a block of rooms at the Cobblestone hotel in Seward. Check the IAC contest calendar for details.

The MAC80 Aerobatic Championship is still on, practice Thursday August 14, contest Friday August 15 and Saturday the 16.
We had major storms hit the Airport, 90 plus mph winds one night and 82 mph the next night.
The roof on Harry’s hangar had some wind damage. The wind lifted a roof panel and blew some insulation out . There was some water that came in and it has been cleaned up.
The roof panels are still in place and the hangar is usable.
