Seward Foster Friends Our mission at Foster Friends is to provide clothing and other needed items to any child that needs i So we have pushed forward our plan into the next phase.

What started off as a small project between my wife and I to serve foster parents, all the while planning to eventually broaden our scope and serve more people, has quickly grown to something larger. We anticipated the community stepping up and stocking us with some clothing, but when we stepped back and looked (plus having to move it a few times) we were astounded. Astounded that this small commu

nity would provide us with more than we could ever imagine. What an awesome community this is, there is simply no other way to put it. To the great people at Faith Lutheran Church and Seward County Bridges who have been behind us the entire way, to my parents and family, who never questioned what we set out to do, and simply asked what can we do to help. We will provide clothing for any child that needs it, regardless of what the circumstances are. We were kind of vague about who we were going to serve in the beginning, and for that I apologize, we didn't want to make any promises we couldn't keep. If we run out of clothing tomorrow, then at least we did what we set out to do, help. Whether it's a teen who needs a set of dress clothes for a job interview, or a family struggling with buying school clothes. A family that has lost everything in a fire, or if someone just wants a special dress for a special little girl that they normally couldn't get, we will do everything we can to help them out. There is a set of bunk beds at Foster's needing a home. The wood head and foot boards and rails are in front of the garage at Foster's but the 2 mattresses are under the picnic shelter by Faith Lutheran. Will take down post when it is picked up!
