Seward Rotary Club - #1540 A group of individuals in Seward, Nebraska with a shared commitment to service above self, fellowship, diversity, integrity, and leadership.

The Seward Rotary Club ( #1540) meets weekly on Wednesday's at 12 noon for lunch in the basement conference room at Jones National Bank & Trust Co. in Seward for fellowship, club business and programs on topics and matters of interest to Rotarians and our community. We are committed to serving our community and do so in a number of ways, including "Stuff the Cruiser," Breakfast with Santa, support of Seward's 4th of July festivities, and various community projects.

Concordia’s athletic program was represented by their track and cross country teams today.
Coach Biesel shared a question he works to answer for students and families he’s recruiting and it’s a worthwhile one for all kinds of organizations to ask themselves:

“What unique offering does your organization have in what it can offer to those who want to be or are part of it?”

It's almost time for the Stuff the Cruiser collection (December 6th and 7th from noon-4 pm) at Seward Walmart Seward.

Nearly 30 bikes and scooters have been requested this year. Can you help Seward Nebraska Police Department and Rotary meet these requests with either the purchase of a bike or a monetary donation toward one?

Here are the sizes that have been requested:

Can you add some Seward County children to your shopping list for Black Friday/Black November sales? We're sharing some common needs and wants below. Items can be dropped off at the Seward Nebraska Police Department or in the cruiser at Walmart Seward December 6th and 7th from noon to 4 pm.

Literacy and education are supported by Rotarians around the world. That’s why the annual Stuff the Cruiser program includes a partnership with Chapters Books & Gifts. Help us provide books to the children supported through Stuff the Cruiser while also shopping local.

📚Stop by Chapters this small business Saturday (or any day!) and add a gift card (of varying or custom amounts) to your purchase in support of Stuff thr Cruiser.

🗓️ Mark your calendar to bring new toys, clothes, art/craft supplies, bikes, and more to Walmart from noon-4pm on December 6th and 7th. We will also have each child’s need and want lists available to give you some specific ideas.

☕️Today is a great day to enjoy a stop at Scooters! 10% of all purchases will support the Stuff the Cruiser program to provide gifts for Seward County families in need this Christmas season.

🚔The Seward Nebraska Police Department is on site for a couple hours this morning. Purchases and cash donations may be left with them today and will also be collected December 6th and 7th at Walmart from noon to 4.
