Every year during Alumni Weekend, Sewanee Military Academy alumni march from Quintard Hall, the former SMA campus, to the steps of All Saints' Chapel. There, they gather on the steps and sing the University of the South's Alma Mater.

It is an honor to have such rich, enduring traditions from our SAS alum community.

Alum Charlie Barron (class of 2022, ) was recently featured in Chattanooga CityScope's "On the Map" section.

Barron's work in labor and learning equity in rural Southern Appalachia earned her this honor. St. Andrew's-Sewanee School is proud to have an alum build a career around place-based service. If you've been on campus lately and ventured to Gunn Lake, you might have noticed a brand new dock. It was constructed and installed by Scout Troop 14 member Sam ('26) as part of their Eagle Scout Service project. The dock was just one component of this honor.

Sam also devoted countless hours to climbing seven Scouting ranks, earning 21 merit badges, preparing their final Eagle Scout Binder, and becoming a leader within their troop, SAS's Troop 14.
