On World Labyrinth Day, we hosted a free workshop around our labyrinth on the bluff — and what unfolded was more beautiful than we could have imagined. 🌀
We expected a few neighbors or locals to show up and walk together. Friends, 25 people made their pilgrimage to Sewanee from Mentone, AL, Oak Ridge, TN, and White House, TN. And nearly every one of them was here for the first time.
They were looking for a practice of movement. A practice outdoors. And they found a community of people looking for exactly the same thing.
This is why we do what we do. There is something quietly powerful about walking a labyrinth together — strangers arriving, pilgrims leaving. We are so grateful for everyone who made the journey to New Hope Bluff, and we hope to see you again soon. 🙏🌿
