Be sure to stop by the Empty Tables Initiative Show & Sale at the American Legion Hall—located between Angel Park and Lunch in Downtown Sewanee—during the 2025 Holiday Tour of Artists’ Studios & Galleries:

🗓 December 6, 10 AM–5 PM and December 7, 11 AM–4 PM.

Now in its fifth year, this artist-led initiative—sponsored by Tennessee Craft–South in partnership with the Community Action Committee - Sewanee, Grundy County TN Food Bank, and Morton Memorial UMC—works to address local hunger. TN Craft–South artists and community members are contributing pieces that celebrate the growing, serving, and sharing of food: bowls, plates, napkins, paintings, candlesticks, and more.

Each item will be available in exchange for a donation, with all proceeds used to purchase food for neighbors in need.

Thank you for supporting this meaningful effort to address hunger here on the Plateau.
