Join us for the final membership meeting of the Tennessee Craft-South Chapter at Frame Gallery Gifts and Art in Sewanee on November 13.
We’ll have a short meeting beginning at 4:30 PM, followed by a reception from 5:00–6:30 PM as we celebrate 31 years of our chapter and enjoy a sneak peek of artists participating in this year’s Studio and Gallery Tour.
If you are participating in the Tour and would like to include a piece in this special preview exhibition as a teaser for the December Tour, please contact our host, Harriet Runkle, owner of Frame Gallery, by November 1 to let her know of your interest.

The Tennessee Craft-South Chapter held its third-quarter membership meeting at the Studio of Linda Kerlin in Monteagle TN, on August 23rd. Members in attendance were from:Cowan, Estill Springs, Lewis Chapel, Monteagle, Sewanee, Tracy City and Wi******er. Attendees represented the following mediums: basketry, book making, clay, copper, drawing, gel printing, mixed media, painting, silver smithing, and textiles. After the businessportion of the meeting, attendees introduced themselves and presented an example and description of their work. Many thanks to Linda Kerlin, TN Craft-South Vice-President, for sharing her beautiful studio with us!

Our first 2026 Chapter membership meeting is less than a week away on Sunday, January 18, at 1:00 p.m. CST at Abraham Art Gallery (106 N High Street in Wi******er, TN)!

Free parking is available on the road and across the street. There’s a $3 parking lot next to the gallery.

Speaker: Kristy Abraham, Curator, Abraham Art Gallery

Topics: Kristy will share her journey as an artist and as a gallery curator. Per requests from our members, Kristy will also share information that will be helpful for those seeking to sell their work through a shop or gallery.

Sewanee stops include the studios of Judith Condon, Pippa Browne, Diane Getty, Ben Potter, Claire Reishman, and Merissa Tobler, along with the American Legion Hall, the Spencer Room at St. Andrew’s–Sewanee School, and Frame Gallery Gifts and Art.

In Monteagle, open studios and galleries include those of Cheryl Lankhaar, Jim ClenDening, Linda Kerlin, Terrie Ponder Watch, and The Gallery at Monteagle Assembly. In Bell Buckle, Sherri Warner Hunter will open her studio, and the Wartrace Emporium in nearby Wartrace will also participate. Light refreshments will be available at most locations.
