Don’t miss The Society’s Cruisin’ for a Cause Car Show—THIS SATURDAY, June 27th, 11 am–2pm! 🚗

All proceeds benefit our Hubless Link program, which promotes community inclusion for individuals with intellectual & developmental disabilities, focusing on building connections, learning important life skills, and exploring interests.

Pre-registration is just $10 per vehicle ($15 day of event). The first 50 participants will receive a dash plaque, generously donated by the Romich Foundation Makerspace! Motorcycles are welcome!

Enjoy classic cars, raffles, games, music, food trucks, and more.

Over the last month, we've have been exploring parks, the environment, ecosystems, and biology through a variety of hands-on lessons and community experiences. 🌳🌎🦋

To continue our exploration we went to the Akron Fossils & Science Center, where we had the opportunity to learn about the origins of the universe through exhibits and discussions on Intelligent Design and Evolution. We enjoyed exploring fossils,engaging with interactive displays and got to pet some fuzzy... and not so fuzzy creatures.

By connecting learning with real-world experiences, we continue to encourage curiosity, critical thinking, and a deeper appreciation for science and the environment.

Nothing beats a day spent enjoying the sunshine and making memories! ☀️🍓

We got out into the community and soaked up some beautiful weather recently. Some of us enjoyed a visit to a local Strawberry Festival, where we explored the festivities, enjoyed the sights and sounds, and celebrated one of summer’s sweetest treats.

Another group took a trip to Summit Lake, where we took in the scenic views, met some new people, and seen some people fishing. Community outings like these provide opportunities for socialization, recreation, and discovering all the wonderful things our area has to offer.

🌿Getting our hands dirty with Revelry Creative Workshops! ✨
We created terrariums! From layering rocks and soil to carefully choosing and planting greenery and cute gnomes, everyone had the opportunity to build a miniature ecosystem to take home and take care of. This activity encouraged creativity, responsibility and a connection with nature. 💚

🔬🧪The first week of day camp was a blast! Science week was packed with discovery, creativity and hands-on learning!
Campers explored the wonders of science during exciting trips to COSI and the Great Lakes Science Center.
Back at camp, everyone showed off their creativity by designing colorful tie dye shirts, watched their own sea monkeys come to life, and traveled through the stars during a fascinating astrology class. 🌟🔭

This past month, we've been learning all about hygiene and the importance of self-care, health, and helping others in the community. To put what we learned into action, we made and donated soap to Hope and Healing Survivor Resource Center.
We are proud to give back and support people in need. Small acts of kindness can make a big difference, and this was a great way for us to connect learning with community service. 🩵🧼

🇺🇸Over the weekend we had the honor of volunteering at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, placing flags on the graves of our veterans.
This meaningful experience gave us the opportunity to show respect, gratitude, and remembrance for the brave men and women who served our country. Each flag placed as a reminder that their sacrifices will never be forgotten.

Tomatoes, carrots, watermelon, zucchini and onions, oh my! 🍅🥕🍉

Gardening is a great way to build teamwork, learn where our food comes from, and enjoy time outdoors in the sunshine. ☀️

We can’t wait to watch everything grow over the next few months and enjoy some fresh veggies together soon!
