Hey everyone, it's Corkey... there somethings you should know about Sandi... I didn't know Sandi a month ago. We had met once and I had listened to her for awhile.... talk about her passion... her little rescue. I had watched her on facebook... occassionally, checking in, but I didn't know her.
Then I saw a few people, I thought i knew, jumping on a band wagon to call her names and put down her efforts to save these dogs.
I hate to see anyone being picked on. I have seen in this world, how quickly we can turn on someone without having the facts. So I wanted to get the facts.
Although, I am still learning about Sandi... I can say this without question. Sandi has a problem! Her problem is she has a heart as big as this universe. She can not contain a heart that big in her chest... so she gives pieces of that heart to every dog she has in her rescue. She also gives pieces of her heart to dogs in our community, helping where she can , when she can. This I Know. The bigger problem is ...she has single handed... held down a full time job... to make money to feed and care for these dogs.
She also maintains a 15 acre farm... while giving 40 some dogs a home...
If you have read this far, I know you care.
Sandi is in desperate need of financial funding ... but just as important.. we are looking for at least 5 quality foster homes that could take and work with one or 2 dogs at a time. This would ease her burden and give these dogs a real chance to have a home...
If your reading this I know you can spare $5.. if everyone who reads this could commit to just $5 a month.. you could help change Sandi life and the lives of the dogs she is trying to save...

Happy Sunday, friends! I just made a post on my personal page that I'm going to copy and paste here. I wanted to start this rescue page back up in hopes to 1) help find homes/fosters for the rescue dogs here... 2) maybe gain some support on getting donations to help with food and vetting for the rescue dogs. I hope the post from my personal page will help explain my absence from this page. I'll be here when I can but Corkey Miller will be posting some of the dogs to showcase for adoption. Ok, guys! I haven't been on fb lately lately for several reasons. I don't have good Internet service at home and I don't have but just a few minutes for fb while at work during the week. The weekends are used for trying to stay caught up on yard work (15 acres to be tended to) and more importantly, working with the dogs. Another reason is because I'm sick to death of all the drama and negativity I see. It seems that you can't post anything without someone having something bad to say. I have several posts to make about some personal things like this and some posts to make about my rescue efforts but just know that I can't man the comments 24/7 (or even a fraction of that) because I simply don't have the time. Luckily for my rescue dogs, Corkey Miller, has agreed to be an admin on my rescue page (Our Happy Place Sanctuary) and will be making some posts on some of the rescue dogs on the farm that she just took pictures of today. I'm hoping to get dogs adopted into good homes and maybe find a few foster homes before cold weather hits. I know this is a long winded post and I want to thank those of you that have followed it to the end. I'm hoping that you can share my dogs and some other things I'm trying to do when you come across it on news feeds or notifications. I hope to keep everything positive and drama free. I just don't have the time or energy to spend on negative comments. Thanks so much for your support and I could use some prayers for more private matters in my life right now. ~Sandi Ann

D.O.G has no worms....did great at his vet visit and gained. 5.7 lbs.... looking for his forever home.

D.O.G and I headed to vet to take stitches out from neuter....he is going to make somebody and amazing dog... will post some training videos later today

Does anyone use h**p products for your dogs? Does it help with seizures, to calm a dog, etc?
