As the Sevier County Fairest of the Fair Pageant approaches, I wanted to share an important update regarding my role as Executive Director.
First and foremost, I am incredibly grateful that God blessed me with the opportunity to serve in this position. It has been such a privilege to meet so many remarkable young women, watch dreams come true, build lifelong friendships, and be personally inspired throughout this journey. This experience has meant more to me than words can express.
Many of you know that I wear several hats. I work full-time as a Licensed Cosmetologist in Mountain City, travel as a professional hair and makeup artist with my business DMG Beauty Bliss, serve as a Board Operator at WMCT radio station, currently hold the title of Ms. U.S. 2026, and serve alongside my mom on several committees as an Executive Director. While I feel incredibly blessed by each of these opportunities, living several hours away from the Sevier County Fairgrounds has made it increasingly difficult to give this role the time and attention it truly deserves.
After much prayer and thoughtful consideration, the Sevier County Fairest of the Fair Board and I mutually agreed that passing the role to my beautiful friend, Stacy Anderson, is the best decision at this time.
There is no one I trust more to continue leading this program. I know she will pour her heart into these young women and present an outstanding pageant. It's especially meaningful because when I had the honor of serving as Miss Sevier County Fairest of the Fair 2021, Stacy was one of my greatest encouragers. Seeing her step into this role brings everything full circle.
To everyone who has supported me through this decision, thank you from the bottom of my heart. I also want to extend my deepest gratitude to the Sevier County Fairest of the Fair Board—Cyndie, Dawn, and Tammie—for believing in me and trusting me to lead this incredible program. It has truly been an honor.
This isn't goodbye forever. Sevier County will always hold a very special place in my heart, and I will forever cherish the memories, friendships, and experiences this organization has given me. I look forward to cheering on the program and watching it continue to flourish for years to come.🤍 With love, DeAnna Greer.
