St. John SP Jamaica Outreach Project Jamaica is designed to better the lives of our brothers and sisters of Jamaica by focusing on education and evangelization. Philomena and St.

In 2007, we adopted two sister parishes in the diocese of Mandeville, Jamaica - St. Margaret Mary. In addition to sending resources, we have committed to praying for these parishes. In the Fall, we send a group of parishioners to Jamaica to learn about the parishes and to let them know who we are. Please join us in prayer, and support our efforts to keep our Sister Parish Jamaica project running. We are planning many exciting and rewarding projects for this year, and we are in need of support in many areas. If interested in finding out more, please plan to attend one of our monthly meetings. Keep an eye on the weekly bulletin for times and location. Contact: Jerry Rush 410-553-0293 or [email protected]. To aid and support the needs of the parish through education and training of the proper people to help the growth of the parish. To build a direct connection with the Diocese and Bishop, for the aid and education of needed individuals pertinent to the growth of the parish/schools.

Some of the devastation from the hurricane at Maggotty. Besides all the building destruction they also lost their sausage factory, peanut farm and most of their coconut trees.
