Beatification of Archbishop Fulton Sheen

https://www.facebook.com/share/p/14ukdDmQKX6/

Today the Church will celebrate the beatification of Archbishop Fulton Sheen in St. Louis. A member of the Knights of Columbus, Archbishop Sheen spoke at numerous K of C events and collaborated with the Order in Catholic educational and evangelization efforts. At the 88th Supreme Convention in Houston in 1970, he challenged his brother Knights “to rebuild a morally united nation,” and five years later, in Miami Beach, Florida, he encouraged them to keep Jesus at the center of their efforts to advance the kingdom of God on earth.

As a priest, professor, bishop and media personality, Archbishop Fulton Sheen engaged the rapidly changing and often turbulent culture of his day with clarity and wit. Today, his message of faith — broadcast around the world — remains a timely and urgent witness of hope.

Happy 250th Birthday, America! 🇺🇸
We thank God for the great gift of freedom, for the opportunities of our land, and for those who have sacrificed so much to protect our liberties.

Subject: Please join us for Wellspring Life Ministry Prayer Night

Dear Ministry partners and friends,

As we navigate a season of transition and new beginnings here at Wellspring Life Ministry, our deepest desire is to keep our steps firmly rooted in prayer. We are so incredibly grateful for your steadfast partnership in defending life, and we want to step into this next chapter together with you.

Wellspring Life Ministry’s Board of Directors will host an In-Person Night of Prayer, and we would be honored to have you join us as we seek God’s wisdom, prkotection, and vision for the future of this ministry.

When: Thursday 6/18 at 7pm
Where: Severna Park Women’s Clinic
Can’t make it in person? Join us from wherever you are! Your prayers are just as vital from a distance. If you cannot be there with us physically, we invite you to pause and join us in spirit by praying right where you are from 7pm to 8pm on 6/18.

Thank you for standing with us, for the vulnerable, and for the future of this ministry.

"For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them." Matthew 18:20

I hope you can join us. Please share with those at your church or ministry who would be interested in praying with us.

Blessings,

Angela Murray

According to a study of post-abortive women and their experiences, if even ONE person comes alongside a woman facing an unplanned pregnancy, that woman might find the strength and resources she needs to make a choice for life. Together we can be that ONE, offering help and hope to women and families...

Deacon Stephen Kirby was in fifth grade when he first thought it would be “cool” to be a priest. The fourth of seven children, Deacon Kirby and his family were active members at St. John the Evangelist in Severna Park where he was an altar boy and in the youth choir.

Anecdotal stories of Christians returning to their faith or non-Christians exploring the faith have circulated in the news recently, and organizations and universities are earnestly tracking data and studying the results to identify trends, causes and effects, and forecasts.
