Navy Day is a day to honor the U.S. Navy, celebrated on October 27th. Originally established in 1922 to coincide with President Theodore Roosevelt's birthday, it also serves as a time to acknowledge the broader history of the U.S. Navy and its personnel. The U.S. Navy Birthday is on October 13th, a date that was identified later and is now a separate celebration, but October 27th is still widely recognized as Navy Day.
