Saturday night at Miner's Memorial Park was something special...

Mark Wills put on an incredible performance, and the turnout was one of the biggest the event has seen. The park was packed from every direction, and word is some fans even made the drive in from Oklahoma to be there. That says everything. Where did you travel from to catch the show?

Announcing the 2026 Keith Ward, Jim Dorris, & Randall Crocker Hall of Fame Inductees!

Each year we get to recognize the people who helped make this event what it is. This year's inductees into the Hall of Fame are:

Glenn Wright
Gayla Stubblefield
Ditto Basso
John Stacey

Each of these individuals has left a mark on the Sesser community and on the Homecoming celebrations we all look forward to.

We lost John Stacey last year, but his presence is still felt. He was a vital part of our Corn Crew, always throwing all he had into it and thinking about ways to make it better. His family was there to accept the honor on his behalf, and we're grateful for the chance to recognize everything he gave to this event.

It's an honor to acknowledge each of these inductees, and a reminder of how much this event owes to the people who gave their time and heart to it.

If you know, you know...

The Sesser Ducks Unlimited Club has made it a tradition to soak the Homecoming Crew with water guns as they pass the announcer's stand during the parade.

This year, the crew came prepared with water guns of their own, and let's just say nobody made it through dry.

Some Homecoming traditions are about nostalgia. This one is about revenge. 😁

Thank you to every entry that rolled, walked, or rode down the street, and to all the families and neighbors who came out to watch. Seeing this community come together like that is one of the best parts of Homecoming.

It is announcement time for Sesser Homecoming, and we know everyone has been waiting to hear two things!

First up, the 2026 Homecoming court....

A heartfelt thank you to all of our court candidates for the hard work they put into selling tickets this year. The effort each of you gave helps carry this tradition forward.

Now, for the drawing. First Prize, a trip for two to Hawaii or 4,000 dollars cash, goes to Ryan Benedict. Second Prize of 1,000 dollars goes to Marlene Smith. Congratulations to you both! We'll be in touch soon on how to collect your respective prizes.

And to everyone who bought a ticket, whether for the drawing or in support of the candidates, thank you. Every ticket sold helps keep Sesser Homecoming alive for another year.

Tonight's the night! Grand Ole Opry member Mark Wills closes out the 70th Annual Sesser Homecoming at 8PM in Miner's Memorial Park.

Few artists have left a mark on country music quite like Mark Wills. Nineteen Billboard-charting singles. Seven albums. Hits that have stuck around for a reason: "Wish You Were Here," "I Do (Cherish You)," "Jacob's Ladder," "Don't Laugh at Me," and the six-week number one "19 Somethin'."
