Tidbits Rooster Rescue

Clark is having his two year anniversary. He was my introduction to Lilly's Safe Haven and Shayna. He's the top roo in my main coop and takes awesome care of my ladies. Happy Anniversary, Clark (Gabel).

Local peeps. As you may know, many farm animals get dumped in this county. The budern of their rescue falls on only a handful of us in the area. Lilly's Safe Haven is starting a list to try to spread the joy and the effort more broadly. Please, if you have room in your heart and on your property, consider joining this list. It doesn't obligate you, but it gives them a starting point when an animal needs help and the local rescues are all full.

Days like this make every hard day worth it. Papa Bear, now George, has a new home with a sweet six year old and his flock of hens. This rooster is such a good good boy. He earned this happiness. 🥰

This is Roo. Name- a little uninspired. Coloring and beauty- top notch. He’s staying with us for a year while his family rents a city house while his house is built in Montana.

It’s lice season! I mean, that’s every season in the PNW. Elector PSP and these spoiled animals even got warm water for their bum bidet. This is my Ghostbusters style electric spray pack. Love it.

Meet Cuddles McCuddleson. He loves me. He picks up sticks for me and tidbits and coos and dances until I pick him up to cuddle and carry around. My rescue is named after this sweet behavior (Tidbitting).

Randy knows where the one low spot is in the fencing. He flees daily to be....well, Randy. Then he goes to work guarding the egg stand. Zoë makes sure to point him out, then I carry him around and close the stand and put him to bed. He's a very cute roo. He doesn't walk anywhere. He dances.

Sky! 🦅

03/15/2026

This hen was witnessed being dropped out of the sky today by an 🦅! Someone who knows I’m a chicken lady stopped by the house to see if I could rescue her. It took time and my rooster Leonard on a harness to get her caught. I shall name her Sky.
