🚨 Public Service Announcement 🚨

Earlier today the Burns Flat EMS announced the resignation of the medics and the closure of the ambulance service effective June 1, 2026. We first would like to thank the EMS volunteers for their service to the community. We know this was not an easy decision by the medics or the Town of Burns Flat leaders.

In Oklahoma, the Board of County Commissioners is responsible for facilitating emergency medical services through cities/towns, hospital authority, or private organizations. We would like to thank the Town of Burns Flat for providing this service throughout the years.

As of right now, the Town of Burns Flat has entered into a mutual aid agreement with Sinor Ambulance to provide service from their Clinton and Hobart locations. The Board of County Commissioners will continue to hold discussions with the Town of Burns Flat leaders to determine a permanent solution. Please rest assured the citizens of Wash*ta County will not be left without service.

State Treasurer Todd Russ called a big player in the corporate world.

Under Treasurer Todd Russ’ leadership, Oklahoma became the first conservative-led state to step directly into corporate engagement to refocus companies on performance, accountability, and shareholder value. The effort has helped drive real results with major corporations, including Oklahoma’s agriculture, oil, and gas industries. It gives a voice back to Oklahoma voters and taxpayers.

"As treasurer of the great state of Oklahoma, I am familiar with the adverse consequences of activism in the corporate space. Oklahoma constituents have seen the results of such corporate activism negatively affect the many industries on which thousands of lives and futures depend." -Todd Russ

That's strong fiduciary leadership.

Vote to re-elect Todd Russ for State Treasurer on June 16 and keep strong, steady leadership working for Oklahoma.
