It's time to give blood, tomorrow
It will be a feeling you'll be proud of – so give the gift . . .
(Sing the above to the tune “Tomorrow” from “Annie”.)

Sign up in advance to give blood tomorrow, May the 4th, at the Senoia UMC located at 229 Bridge Street. We'll be there from 1-6 pm. By donating, you'll be eligible for a $20 Amazon gift card from the American Red Cross! You'll also be able to enjoy a “famous” grilled cheese sandwich along with snacks provided by the ARC during the blood drive.

Sign up now for the blood drive using the link https://www.redcrossblood.org/give.html/find-drive or call the Red Cross at 1-800-RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767).

Early Wednesday morning, April 29, it looked like more rain at Newnan High School's ball fields. But the sun came out on Coweta County School System's Special Olympics Field Day 2026. Senoia Optimists Tony and Laura Bell, Chuck and Brenda Atkins, Club President Phil Downey, Lu Nations-Miller, and Jean Cotton were there to volunteer and helped serve lunch to all the athletes and volunteers.

Coweta's business community supported the annual event. Subway sandwiches, Wishbone chicken, Sprayberry's BBQ, Papa John's pizza, Panda Express bowls, fruit from several grocery chains, and hot dogs from the grill were available for everyone. The DJ's music, petting zoo animals from the 4-H Club, rides, and games were also enjoyed by the athletes along with their track and field events.

It was a wonderful day!

The 2026 Taste of Senoia is in the books! Thank you to all of our friends and neighbors who made who helped make this year a success.
Thank you to all participating restaurants and food trucks. All of the food and drink was delicious. Borgo Italia collected the most food tickets AND they were voted as having the favorite taste for the day. Please check the list for all of the participating restaurants and food trucks and give them a try.
Thank you to our sponsors and local businesses who donated items for the silent auction. Their support helps us not only to have the Taste of Senoia, but also contributes to our other activities. We ask that you in turn support them.
And thank you to our musicians. They provided hours of entertainment for everyone.
Follow our page. We will soon be posting pictures of the event.
See you next year!
