Julia and Magan had the opportunity to speak this past Wednesday at the All About Seniors Luncheon serving Oconee and Pickens Counties!

All About Seniors connects older adults throughout Upstate South Carolina with valuable services, resources, and programs that help them thrive. We were incredibly impressed by the genuine care this organization has for the communities they serve and the collaborative spirit that makes their work so impactful.

Thank you to Gail Stokes for inviting Ripple of One to attend and become members. We are grateful for the opportunity to connect with other organizations that are committed to strengthening our communities and supporting individuals and families across the Upstate.

Some people work behind the scenes so faithfully that it’s hard to imagine an event without them.

As we wrapped up this year’s Star Chef fundraiser, we also marked the end of an incredible chapter with Pam Schaeffer. This was Pam’s final Star Chef, and while we’re excited for all that’s ahead for her, it is impossible to put into words just how much she has meant to this event and to Ripple of One.

Pam has poured countless hours, endless energy, and so much heart into making Star Chef what it is today. From the smallest details to the biggest moving pieces, she consistently went above and beyond to ensure every event was a success. Many of the moments our guests experienced and enjoyed over the years happened because of her dedication, leadership, and commitment behind the scenes.

While she may be moving on to new opportunities, her impact on Ripple of One will remain for years to come. The foundation she helped build, the lives she touched, and the example she set will continue to shape this event long into the future.

Pam, thank you for every late night, every detail, every challenge you helped solve, and every ounce of love you gave to this mission. You will always be a treasured part of the Ripple of One story, and you will be greatly missed.

Our goal isn’t simply to help someone get by. It’s to help them discover their God-given abilities, build confidence, develop life skills, increase income, and reduce dependence on government assistance.

We believe every person has value, purpose, and potential. Sometimes all it takes is the right support, encouragement, and opportunity to help someone step into the life they were created for.

Over the course of two years, we watch participants grow in ways that impact not only their own lives, but also their families, workplaces, and communities.

Because when one life changes, the ripple effect reaches far beyond what we can see.

Wednesday night was one we will never forget - the Ripple Of One Star Chefs Fundraiser 2026. ✨

From the incredible food prepared by our talented chefs, to the beautiful atmosphere filled with laughter, a few tears, generosity, and community, the entire evening was truly something special. Hearing the testimonies from our participants, Brook, Michael, and Karli, was a powerful reminder of why Ripple Of One exists and the lives that are being changed every single day because of the people who choose to show up, give back, and love others well.

One of the most moving moments of the night was witnessing the incredible generosity of Mark Amato and the Let’s Go Program as they gifted Rovanda a vehicle. Moments like that are impossible to put into words and will stay with us forever. Thank you to every sponsor, donor, volunteer, restaurant, chef, attendee, and supporter who poured into families in our community through this event. Your generosity makes this mission possible.

To our staff, you absolutely rocked it, just like you do every single year. The countless hours, the hard work behind the scenes, the setup, the coordination, and every tiny detail did not go unnoticed. Thank you for loving this foundation so fiercely and for making this event possible.
