14 year old Shih Tzu Brandywine was brought in because his owner passed away. He has always lived indoors and uses p*e pads. Brandywine has hardly ever been left alone and is a pure lap-dog. He is used to a quiet home and has not lived with other animals. He likes to be petted and was very spoiled and loved.

Sweet Bleu needs a home. She is a 2 year old, solid white, deaf Dalmation/Terrier mix. Bleu is very smart and has already been learning hand signals. She loves all people and other dogs. She has been spayed, vaccinated, and is heartworm neg, .Contact [email protected]

I have been contacted my a gentleman who is having to give up his beloved dog and cat whom he rescued from terrible circumstances because his current job situation has not been enough for him to have the money to pay for his pet deposit and for their food. I can get some food to him tomorrow but would like to try and raise the funds for him to have enough to pay his pet deposit so his pets can stay with him. If anyone would like to help this couple keep their pets please donate on our website. I will post a receipt for the deposit on facebook and through private message for anyone who donates.

Meet our new Sanctuary Sweetheart Iris. Iris was saved from the shelter and adopted out 3 years ago. She got out of the fence and was hit by a car. She ended up back at the shelter and injured. Her family surrendered her to the shelter and we were able to get her and take her to the vet. She has a spinal injury which makes her back legs not very steady and has an injury to one of her front legs. We have ordered special harnesses for her from K9 Carts which cost $126.00. Please share with others who you think may be interested in helping sweet Iris. She has such a good attitude and happy go lucky spirit. You don't feel sorry for her when you are with her because she has a way of keeping smile on your face.

Adult dogs offered to rescue on the AVAILABLE TO RESCUE list will be spayed/neutered, have DA2PPV, Bordetella, dewormed, HW tested, microchipped, and given heartworm and flea prevention. All dogs will be fostered while waiting on transport. We try to get all of our dogs fully sponsored so rescues can concentrate on getting these dogs transported and on to a happy home. Rescues who are interested in one of our pets should contact [email protected].
