SCCADVASA is inviting businesses, organizations, and neighborhoods to participate in our Porch Lights campaign for Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

On October 8, communities across the state will display purple luminaries to honor survivors, remember lives lost, and show that South Carolina stands against domestic violence.

Your participation helps bring this important issue out of the shadows and reminds survivors that they are not alone.

MEET CARRIE ZIMMERMAN!

Carrie is a member of the Seneca Junior Woman’s Club.

She is a working mom, wife, business owner, volunteer, and all-around jack of all trades and a master of none. She enjoys walking, gardening, yoga, reading, crafting, and being a good friend/colleague/person. GFWC has allowed her to meet so many like-minded people who live the volunteer spirit and share their passions, and allows her to share hers. Carrie has also been able to grow in her leadership and public speaking skills to help others and share knowledge that she has learned over the years.

Summer Session Attendees: We will be collecting donations of household items for The Women's Shelter in Columbia at our Summer session. The Women's Shelter has a shelter that houses 11 people as well as 21 transitional homes in the Midlands. Please bring Cleaning Products and Paper Products on August 15 as a donation to The Women's Shelter!
