Daily we see the impact on a kids life from parents making bad decisions or parents who want to care for their kids but can’t. SHINE is here to break the cycle. We have seen many successes by us being by their side every step of the way. They are tired, but not giving up!

SHINE stands for Serve, Heal, Inspire, Empower. How best to do that? Help them with transitioning into adulthood by learning to live independently, being financially stable and thriving in our community! They are our future!

Collins has been blessed by a generous donor. From now until August 15, every donation we receive will be matched up to $40,000! The proceeds from this campaign directly fund our mission to shelter at-risk youth who have aged out of foster care or group home life. Everyone deserves an adult who will never give up on them, who understands the power of connection and walks beside them to help them become the best they can
possibly be! is blessed to be part of this. This month take time to be aware of life lived in foster care and aging out of foster care. It will break your heart, but you can make a difference!

A year ago today had our first Awareness session. It not only brought awareness of the need in our community, it brought volunteers. I couldn't let volunteer week end without saying thank you to everyone it has taken to support, care and train our participants. We could NOT support the numbers we have today with each volunteer. I am forever grateful and thankful!
