⏰ The wait is over! Registration for the Summer Play Program, Junior Play Program, All Sports Camp, and Fall Soccer opens today at 10:00 AM!

📣 Attention All Families! 📣

Our Summer Recreation Brochure is being printed as we speak, and we are almost ready to distribute it to the schools!

In the meantime, we are asking everyone who has not already done so to please sign up and create an account on our website:
https://parksrec.egov.basgov.com/senecafallsny

Here’s how it works:
✅ The parent/guardian should create the main account.
✅ Then, add each child as an additional user under your account.

⚠️ Important Note About Grade Registration ⚠️

If you already have an existing account — great! On June 1st, the system will automatically advance your child’s grade level.

Please make sure:
• Accounts created BEFORE June 1st use your child’s CURRENT grade for this school year.
• Accounts created AFTER June 1st should use your child’s grade for the UPCOMING school year.

Families planning to participate in the Summer Play Program are also encouraged to begin contacting their doctors now to secure copies of immunization records. They are required to begin the program. Last years are no longer valid.

✨EVENTS SPOTLIGHT✨

The past week has been jam-packed for Seneca Falls Parks & Recreation…

On Saturday 4/11, folks gathered at the SF Community Center to celebrate Antonio Varacalli Day. Our own Recreation Director Missy Jones and Assistant Recreation Director Justin Hlywa were presented with the Community Angel award🏆 in recognition of their service to the community. Thank you to the event organizers for putting on a great ceremony and celebration! Congrats to Missy, Justin, and the other honorees!🎉

This past Monday 4/13, the SF Community Center served as the venue for ‘Advancing Together,’ a community gathering and open house event. Here, residents had the chance to receive an update on the ADVANCE Seneca Falls 2040 Comprehensive Plan📊 and hear from various organizations about their role in the plans for the future of Seneca Falls. Thanks to the Comprehensive Plan Implementation Committee for hosting Monday’s event.

Thank you to our very own Rec Commission members for speaking at the event and manning our table, where people learned more about the Rec and gave us feedback on the rec-managed properties around town! What an awesome experience for everyone involved!🌳☀️
