A reminder of our super fun collaborative event a week from today on Saturday, January 25 from 1-3pm at Iroquois National Wildlife Refuge with our friends from the Rochester Lego User Group

Bring your favorite nature sets and we strongly encourage you to bring bring a nature MOC (my own creation) or even a dozen nature MOCs! Think birds, insects, plants, nature scenes, etc., etc. Prizes for fan favorite MOCs! Here are some examples we've made over the years to get you excited and inspired!

Spread the word on this one - we are constantly amazed at how many folks in the nature community don't know that LEGO does nature sets and how many folks in the LEGO community are excited about the natural world because of things they have discovered through LEGO. LEGO is also committed to environmental sustainability (https://www.lego.com/en-us/sustainability/environment) and to social justice (https://www.lego.com/en-us/sustainability/children)! This is sure to be a fun event for all ages - there will be duplo bricks for littles, age brackets for build challenges, and a welcoming space celebrating nature through LEGO.

We feature the Pileated Woodpecker, recap September, and look forward to our October event - a bird mask makerspace - note that this one is our first attempt at an after school activity (Oct. 22, 4-6pm, Canisius University Library). We know this is walking distance for a number of our families so we hope to see you there! Stay tuned for a FB event and an RSVP form in a couple of weeks!
