It's Chamber of Commerce weather today, but it's always good to be prepared for storms.
May 20, Saturday: Hurricane Seminar at Seminole Community Library,10:30 am at the Seminole Community Library located at 9200 113 Street. Julie Phillips, a Meteorologist with WFLA StormTeam8 and granddaughter of Seminole resident Dottie Phillips, will present an informative and expert look at Hurricanes and Tropical Storms.
Julie is a highly respected authority in her field that has covered many significant weather events in our area. Also speaking will be Seminole Fire Rescue Public Affairs Officer, Brad Dykens who serves as the City’s Community Preparedness and Life Safety Coordinator.

Tribute to Teachers Breakfast April 19, 2017

The Seminole Chamber of Commerce and St. Petersburg College, Seminole campus, co-sponsored this worthwhile event, which took place this year at the Community Building in Seminole City Park. One teacher from 20 of our Seminole area schools was honored and received gifts from our sponsors. During a power point presentation, a bio of each teacher was read, and several photos of the teacher, showed them in action. What an amazing and talented group!
