McNairy County Humane Society

McNairy County Humane Society Since '06 we have spayed/neutered over 10000 dogs/cats and since Feb. '08 have adopted over 7500 dogs.

MCHS is a public, nonprofit, (501c3) shelterless organization and rely on foster homes to keep the pups and dogs until placement. We also have a voucher program to assist pet owners in McNairy County with the cost of spay/neuter for their pets. To make a tax deductible donation please visit our Petfinder website.

Warning: Pictures of a dead dog found in the road on Hwy 224N going towards Leapwood. I pulled it out of the road into the ditch for it would not be ran over again. It is on the left side of the road when you pass Grady Plunk’s pond, it is not far from the pond. Intact male, white/black spot and blue eyes.

My bama is missing. He’s never left my fenced in yard. I said goodbye to him when I left for work. When I came home I was not greeted at the door by him. I’ve been out driving up and down the roads hollering and looking w my spot light. He’s no where to be found. My bama is 10 1/2 years old, has a brain tumor, weighs 32 lbs , is scared of the dark, doesn’t like being picked up and is very very very very much loved and missed. I have had him since he was a puppy !! If u see him please call me 207-694-1318. I’ll be putting up flyers in am. I live on Connie rd in Selmer.

This dog has shown up Saturday and does not belong to any one in our neighborhood. Elgie Murray and Willow Bend Rd Selmer/ Bethel line. If this is your dog please come and get it. Super sweet but the dogs in the neighborhood are not having it!
