We had the solemn honor of adding eight fallen officers to the Tennessee Law Enforcement Memorial—spanning from 1870 to March 1, 2026. Each name represents a life of service, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment to their communities.
The following names were added to the wall:
• Benton Crisp – Bolivar Police Department (1870)
• Egbert McLean – Crockett County Sheriff’s Office (1940)
• Lee Sanders – McNairy County Constable (1969)
• Harold Fate Hubbard – Hardin County Constable (1969)
• Jerry Soares – Sumner County Sheriff’s Office (2025)
• Justin Mowery – Blount County Sheriff’s Office (2025)
• Derrick Bonham – Weakley County Sheriff’s Office (2026)
• Dustin Pedigo – Tennessee Department of Correction (2026)
We extend a sincere thank you to Rowland Monuments for coming out and ensuring these names were properly added this year and displayed with the dignity they deserve, so they can be honored during our upcoming Memorial Ceremony.
We invite everyone to join us on May 16th at 2:00 PM as we remember these heroes and all those who have made the ultimate sacrifice.
A hero remembered never dies.
