Better hearing month meant we had to bring out the great folks at Coates Hearing Clinic of Smithfield to make sure we all had our ear health checked in on. We heard about how better hearing can mean better cognitive function and even how hearing issues can effect our balance! We had around 20 participants take the time to get a baseline with a hearing check after the presentation.

Looking for a safe place to land with your feelings? The Harrison Center for Active Aging - HCAA and Heartland Hospice are pairing up to provide forn these emotional needs. Starting June 4th at 11am, Mary from Heartland Hospice will be on site monthly on that first Thursday to help us process and work through grief together in a welcoming a safe environment. Anyone over the age of 50 is invited to join us for these worthwhile 6 sessions. Please let us know if you have questions!
