Second Chance Animal Shelter of Selma (SCAS) is a volunteer-based, non-profit open admission shelter that accepts and provides care to only dogs within the City of Selma, CA limits regardless of age, health or behavior.

We need help finding this girls family. She was found by a Good Samaritan roaming around Selma. She’s not chipped but looks taken care of so she belongs to somebody. Please share her and help us find her family. The finder cannot keep her but she doesn’t want to put her back on the street so please help us find a foster. Share share share, let’s make a difference in this girls life.

Hello Friends. This gorgeous pup was found on 5-20-26 around Dinuba Ave and Garfield St in Selma. It’s very sweet and gets along with finders dogs. We need to find its owners ASAP. However, we need an emergency foster immediately as the finder is going out of town this weekend. Fostering will only be for a few days. Who can help? All of us. Share this post. Spread the word. Let’s help this baby find its owners and a foster. It will be taken to Selma Animal Services to be scanned for a chip.

Friends we need an emergency foster. There is a dog being euthanized this Tuesday and we need a foster willing to help for two weeks until he goes to rescue. We need help finding a new family for this pretty girl. Her name is Luna. Her mom’s landlord is selling their house and her family can’t afford to move into a home that allows pets. Sadly her mom needs to rehome her to a good family that will love and care for her.
She’s around 2 yrs old, has her spay appointment next month. She has all her shots and she also got heart worm and flea/tick/mosquito meds. She’s scared of loud noises, coyotes, doesn’t like motorcycles or bicycles. She’s a very loving girl and is dog friendly. Please help us share to find her a good home!

Hello Friends! This sweet girl is Nova. She's 4 years old who loves playing catch. She’s a sweet loving girl that loves kids!!! But she’s scared of loud noises, Especially fireworks. Nova has always been an indoor dog, but due to having a new baby in the home, she’s outside. Her original owner moved and left her with her grandma. Grandma is older and isn’t able to handle Nova as she’s bigger. Nova needs a loving home asap.

Hi I’m Luna. I am an energetic dog that loves to be outside, go on walks, loves to socialize with other dogs at the dog park, loves to play, tug-of-war, and catch, but have a hard time releasing the ball because I love it too much!! I love to cuddle and to play with bubbles. I I am up-to-date on my vaccines and am spayed. I’m good around children and other dogs. I am also potty trained. My family is having a hard time and need to move to a place where they can’t have big dogs like me. My family loves me but I can’t go with them. I need a place to lay my head down and be the beautiful girl that I am. Can you please help me find that place? I would love to hop into your life like the bunny I am. I’m in Fowler, CA!

Holly and her pups are now with a foster and staying nice and warm! Thank you everyone for sharing and helping us find a rescue willing to help this sweet mama!

Friends we need an emergency foster for this poor mama and her babies! 🆘
Holly was found and had 9 puppies! She’s in desperate need of a foster so she can keep her babies warm and safe during these cold nights.
