We’re proud to announce the successful completion of our most recent Facilitator Training, where 21 community members were trained and certified in two of Rise & Recover’s four restorative programs. This training expands our ability to deliver trauma-informed, community-centered support for youth, emerging adults, and adults throughout Dallas County
H.E.A.T. (Habilitation Empowerment Accountability Therapy) – Adult Program
A long-term, strength-based intervention supporting adults and emerging adults navigating substance use, justice involvement, and major life transitions. H.E.A.T. emphasizes accountability, emotional awareness, and sustainable change.
H.E.A.T. for YOUTH
A youth-focused adaptation of the H.E.A.T. model designed to help young people understand behavior patterns, develop emotional regulation, and build healthier decision-making skills within a supportive group environment.
H.E.R. (Habilitation, Empowerment & Recovery) – Adult Women’s Program
A therapeutic journey designed to support women and emerging adult women in rebuilding identity, strengthening emotional stability, and developing tools for healing, recovery, and long-term personal growth.
H.E.R. for GIRLS (H4G)
A structured therapeutic program for girls ages 13–17 involved in the juvenile justice system. H4G focuses on healing, self-perception, identity formation, and supported re-entry into the community.
During this multi-day training, all 21 facilitators were trained and certified in two of the four programs.
This expanded capacity allows Rise & Recover to immediately offer new healing groups for youth, emerging adults, and adults, with additional certifications planned in the months ahead.
As this work continues, Rise & Recover will begin highlighting collaborations with organizations and community leaders supporting the implementation of H.E.A.T., H.E.A.T. for Youth, H.E.R., and H4G. These partnerships are essential to strengthening community-based healing across Central Alabama.
Rise & Recover remains committed to providing trauma-informed, evidence-informed programming that supports justice-involved youth, emerging adults, adults, families, and communities.
