✨ Celebrating 10 Years of Wives Care Groups ✨
This year marks a milestone that fills us with both gratitude and awe: 10 years of Wives Care Groups—and nearly 800 women who have found support, connection, and hope as they heal from betrayal trauma.
Looking back, we can see so clearly how God was preparing the way long before we could see where He was leading.
Be Broken began in 2003 with Jonathan Daugherty's call to share his story and a vision to help men find freedom and healing in recovery from p**n addiction.
In 2012, Gigi Hopkins joined the ministry team in an administrative role. But God had something more in mind. What began as a job quickly grew into a calling as she encountered wives carrying the deep pain and devastation of betrayal in their marriages.
Their stories mattered. They mattered. And they needed a safe place where their own healing could be seen, supported, and nurtured.
In 2016, Wives Care Groups were born.
Over these past 10 years, we have grown in nearly every way imaginable. What started small has become a community that has walked alongside almost 800 courageous women. We've witnessed tears and breakthroughs, grief and growth, friendships formed, hope restored, and women discovering that individual healing is possible.
We are profoundly grateful for every woman who has trusted us with a piece of her story, every leader who has faithfully walked alongside her, and every person who has prayed for and supported this ministry.
And through it all, God has continued to remind us that this is His work. He prepared the way. He has sustained us along the way. And we trust Him to show us the way forward.
We celebrate what He has done while asking, “Lord, what do You have for us next?”
Here’s to the next 10 years of walking alongside women toward healing, hope, and lasting transformation.
