Great showing today for the Memorial Day Service. A huge thank you to our members that came out for the set up. A big thank you to the Selma American Legion that assisted with the program as well as our great VFW Auxiliary that gave greetings to everyone coming in. Im so proud to be a member of VFW Post 3016. Have a wonderful safe and blessed Memorial day.

It was great to see everyone this morning downtown and at the cemetery. A huge thank you to the VFW members that assisted with placing the flags downtown and with VFW Members, VFW Auxiliary, American Legion and Woodsman of America that helped place the flags at Pineview Memory Gardens. VFW Auxiliary went to several cemeteries yesterday as well. Salute to you all. Thank you.

Hope everyone is having a blessed day. Reminder for everyone that we are putting out flags tomorrow to honor our service members that didnt make it home.
-VFW will start out at Water Ave and broad street at 7 am.
-VFW Auxiliary will be at Pineview Memory Gardens at 8am. They will be joined by VFW members after they compete downtown.

Please come join us and show support for our fallen service members.

VFW Post 3016 members and Auxiliary Post 3016 will be putting out flags this weekend.
VFW members will meet up at 7:00am at the corner of Water Ave. and Broad Street to put
Up flags, the Auxilary will meet up at 8:00am at Pine View Memory Gardens to start putting out flags on the Veterans Resting Places. American Legion Post 20 is also participating in this endeavor. Once we finish with the flags downtown we will go to the cemetery to assist with placing approximately 900 flags. If there are any organizations or individuals that could or would like to assist it would be greatly appreciated.
