For years, our YMCA has been a safe place for children, families, teens, and seniors throughout Selma and the Black Belt community. From summer camp and after-school care to fitness, mentoring, and wellness programs, we are committed to serving those who need us most.

This Saturday, May 2nd beginning at 8:30am, Destin-to-Succeed will be hosting a Basketball Skills Clinic and 3v3 Basketball Tournament at the YMCA. This is a FREE clinic that will help introduce you the sport or sharpen your skills. All skill levels welcome. This event will offer Basketball Skills Clinic, 3v3 Basketball Tournament, and a 3-Point Shoot Contest.

🎬 Join Us in Celebrating Michael Love, Jr.!

We are proud to share that our very own Michale Love has been selected for a paid internship with Fresh Films and will be heading to Chicago this July!

Through the Fresh Films “On-Set” Internship, Michael will gain hands-on experience working alongside professional filmmakers, and production crew to help create episodes of a TV series.

This opportunity is a direct reflection of his dedication, creativity and hard work, and we couldn’t be more excited to see him take this next step. Help us congratulate Michael and wish him the best as he represents the Y and continues to chase his passion!
