Veterans Ruck ‘n Reflect: A Powerful Day on the Trail

What an incredible day at Mauch Chunk Lake! St. Luke’s Penn Foundation’s (SLPF) Ruck ‘n Reflect in April brought together veterans from across the region for a meaningful and energizing experience.

Led by SLPF’s Victory for Veterans team, participants enjoyed a scenic 3.2‑mile hike, fresh air and, most importantly, the chance to connect. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this such a great event. We can’t wait to hit the trail with you again soon!

Mark your calendar! Our next hike is a Get Your Tail on the Trail approved event happening at 9 am on Saturday, June 13, at the Bethlehem Sand Island Trailhead along the Delaware & Lehigh National Heritage Corridor.
Get Your Tail on the Trail is a free community initiative developed by St. Luke’s and Delaware & Lehigh National Heritage Corridor to encourage healthy lifestyles.

On this month’s episode of the award-winning Just STARt the Conversation podcast, we are diving into the online world teenagers navigate every day — from social media to memes, viral trends and inside jokes that shape how teens connect, express themselves and cope.

In this conversation, St. Luke's Penn Foundation child and adolescent psychiatrist Dr. Andrew Clark explores how online trends influence identity, mood and mental health. He also shares tips on how parents can approach conversations with their teens without judgment and how teens can build healthier digital habits without feeling misunderstood.

Join us for a thoughtful discussion that helps bridge the gap between adolescent online culture and mental well-being.
