🚀 NEXGEN INNOVATION DAY! 💡

Another NEXGEN program day is in the books, and this month our students hit the road to discover just how much innovation is happening right here in Southern Indiana!

Across our two NEXGEN groups, students stepped outside the classroom and inside some pretty incredible local businesses and facilities, getting a firsthand look at the people, ideas and technology helping move our region forward.

🏗️ At Dan Cristiani Excavating, students toured the facility and heard from CEO Chris Jackson.

🚀 At Redwire Space Technologies, they got an inside look at technology that takes Southern Indiana innovation to a whole different altitude. Yes... SPACE!

💡 They also visited the Perkins Technology Center and MKS Global, continuing the conversation about innovation, technology, careers and the many different ways leadership shows up in the workplace.

One of our favorite things about NEXGEN is giving students the opportunity to see what's possible. Leadership doesn't look just one way, and neither does innovation. Sometimes the best way to help young people imagine their future is to let them step inside places where the future is already being built. 🌟

A HUGE thank you to Dan Cristiani Excavating, our Innovation Day Sponsor, for helping make this experience possible, and to First Merchants Bank, our NEXGEN Program Sponsor, for continuing to invest in the next generation of Southern Indiana leaders. 💙
