Good morning, I wanted to inform everyone that trash clean ups have paused for the meantime. My Father is in hospice so I’ve been back in Kansas this past week. I won’t be returning for a few months as I need to help my family so my goal of getting the town cleaned up prior to the Fun Run won’t be achieved. We’ll pick back up once I return. Hope you all enjoy the Centennial Celebration this year. See you soon.

Thank you to everyone today who waved, honked, and fist pumped! It feels great to give back to a community I love.

Today's efforts addressed the east side of the I-40 business loop and Route 66 intersection. Almost filled up a contractors bag of trash, it's looking pretty good now. There's still more to clean immediately north of the highlighted area as well as the area across the street so we'll hit that up soon. The trees desperately need to be trimmed and cleaned up, we'll get that knocked out when we come back to address the rest of the trash.

Almost finished with the last section of Anvil Rock Road. Today I cleaned the area from Buffalo Acres to Elkhorn Pass. The second picture shows the trash haul so far. Anvil Rock is looking much better! We'll most likely add 2-3 more 30 gallon bags on the final stretch. It was a nice evening to be out on the quad, Meadow had a blast as usual. 🤘

VERY pleased to see ADOT out this morning addressing the human waste and trash concerns at exit 123! Lots of this trash blows into town with the southernly winds. Getting a handle on the Interstate trash will really help our community. Still lots more work to do but we are making headway!

Anvil Rock Rd has now been cleaned from Anvil Rock Ranch up to Buffalo Acres. The stretch addressed yesterday was from Broken Dam Tank to Anvil Rock Ranch. Not very much trash on the southern section of Anvil Rock Rd. Sure was a nice day to be outside, I love the wide open terrain we have here. The lone truck in this picture is me right as I was ending the trash run. What a spectacular area!

The section of Anvil Rock Rd from Our Street to Broken Dam Tank was cleaned this morning. The haul mainly consisted of beer cans and plastic bottles. Looks much better, we are just about done with Anvil Rock. 👍

Addressed the trash issues on the east side of Main St this morning from Route 66 to Picacho Ave. The section directly across the street from the grocery store housed the most trash but looks great now. Also pulled some weeds along the sidewalk and plan to bring back a bit more tools to clean up sections next week.

I checked out Jolly Rd and emailed ADOT to set up a specific clean up date. I requested the date of March 14th which is next Saturday so we'll keep everyone posted. The areas outside of the Interstate on/off ramps will begin to be addressed by the end of next week.

Lastly, did anyone notice the Town Park was being cleaned up this morning and the Seligman Bandshell Gazebo from 1900 is beginning to get restored? Good things are happening here!

Worked on a few more miles of Anvil Rock Rd yesterday afternoon. This is the trash haul from the Flats up to the end of Buffalo Acres...mainly just plastic bottles and beer cans. I was hoping to knock out the rest of the paved section but temps started to get chilly around 5pm so we called it a day. Sure is looking better out there!

Had a chance to fill up another load of trash in my ATV trailer today. The section of Anvil Rock cleaned was from Radio Tower Road to the middle part of the Flats (almost made it to Signal View). Jammed out to some southern rock while Meadow tried to figure out a way to get off leash so she could chase groundhogs. We'll be back out on Wednesday to work on the rest of Anvil Rock. It's starting to look much better!

It's a beautiful morning here in Northern Arizona, we are getting ready to head out to address more of the trash concerns on the paved portion of Anvil Rock. Planning to sort this trash this morning before we depart, I'll burn the paper products and bag everything else for recycling. My assistant is ready to rock & roll and has taken her position on the back of the quad in anticipation of a leisurely ride through the forest. Hope you all have a great start to the week!

The first Seligman Arizona Litter Lifters route was completed this afternoon. Decided to hit up Anvil Rock Rd - the section cleaned today was from W. Radio Tower Road to Our Street. Both sides were cleared of debris mainly consisting of plastic bottles, beer cans, and cars parts. I didn't expect to fill up the ATV trailer so quickly which is why such a short portion was cleaned, there's lot of trash lining our roadways. We'll get the rest of Anvil Rock covered within the next 7 days. 👍
