Shields-Selfridge Sportsman Club The Shields-Selfridge Sportsman Club is a hometown organization that has been growing strong locally. This growing event has been hosted for over 20 years.

Shields-Selfridge Sportsman Club hosts the Annual Prairie Dog hunt on the second Saturday of June. The Club promotes and focuses on Outdoor and recreational activities. It participates actively with the North Dakota Game & Fish maintaining the Froelich Dam, and helps promote local Hunters Safety Classes. Pheasants are released by Club members in the Spring to encourage and maintain preservation an

d population counts. The Sportsman Club also offers a Scholarship program to local High School Seniors within the local area. Applicants must contact the Organization for further details. The club consists of area members that have roots deep within the community and the organization. The Club is currently under the Direction of:
